Über unseren Mandanten

Our client is the German sales company of an international, European, public listed Group, whose business is in the  security products for the building industry. The German business unit belongs to a Division with various Sales and Distribution entities on the EMEA Market and a Regional Product Development and Industrial Operations. Customers are mainly specialized and high qualified retailers as well as industrial customers. We are looking for the Managing Director of the German company with a total of about 25 employees.

Managing Director (m/f/d) - Focus on Sales and Distribution

Aufgabenbereich

  • Sales and profit responsibility for the German market
  • Cross-functional responsibility as Managing Director (incl. Finance, Customer Service, Techical Assistance, Supply Chain Management)
  • Management and development of approx. 25 employees in Germany
  • Special responsibility for sales and customer care / acquisition
  • Identifying and taking advantage of market opportunities / Business Development
  • Management of the warehouse and distribution
  • Central contact person for all administrative and business management issues
  • Partnership-based cooperation with subsidiaries within the Group

Qualifikationen

  • Successfully completed university degree
  • Experience from a similar position as managing director or sales manager
  • Proven track record in managing sales organizations
  • Experience in indirect sales with specialized trade partners and / or direct sales to industrial customers (B2B)
  • Corporate experience is an advantage
  • Confident knowledge of German and English (Group language)
  • Residence in NRW
  • Willingness to travel (about 30 – 40 %), mostly within Germany
  • Modern, entrepreneurial approach
